Full-time Technical Writer (m/f/d) in Ogdensburg, WI - Starting immediately

Are you a Technical Writer (m/f/d) or have a similar qualification and are looking for a new challenge? Then you've come to the right place

We are currently seeking a dedicated Technical Writer (m/f/d) to join our team in Ogdensburg, WI. This is a full-time position (38 hours/week) with an indefinite contract.

Your responsibilities:

Creating, updating, and improving technical documentation such as operating manuals, assembly instructions, maintenance and repair manuals, service documentation, data sheets, and spare parts catalogs
Developing and implementing userfriendly representations of complex technical content
Independently and timely coordinating with the development department and management
Planning and coordinating external translation assignments
Controlling translation costs in consultation with the supervisor
Maintaining and improving the editorial system.

Your profile:

Degree in Technical Writing or a similar field (e.g. humanities degree with technical affinity or engineering degree with strong language skills)
Proficiency in common applications (e.g. MS Office; MS Project and various common DTP programs desirable)
Nativelevel German and excellent English skills; additional foreign language skills are a plus
Strong technical understanding and the ability to present complex technical concepts in a simple and understandable way
Analytical thinking and clear structure in presenting facts
Strong communication skills and collegiality
Attention to detail, organizational
