Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and other special needs
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement behavioral interventions and strategies to promote positive behavior and skill development
- Assist individuals in crisis situations and provide crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions
- Provide education and support to families and caregivers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, special education)
- Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or related conditions
- Knowledge of crisis management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
