Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and other special needs
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Implement behavioral interventions and strategies to promote positive behavior and skill development
  • Assist individuals in crisis situations and provide crisis intervention as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions
  • Provide education and support to families and caregivers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, special education)
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or related conditions
  • Knowledge of crisis management techniques and strategies
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
