About the Role


The bareMinerals Global Marketing Associate Manager is responsible for contributing to Global Marketing initiatives for new launches and ongoing business within the color and skincare categories.

This position reports into and supports the Director, Global Marketing in various brand analyses projects, strategic initiatives and brand communications.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the Color category, working crossfunctionally to bring programs through all launch readiness milestones.
  • Support on key Skincare launches.
  • New Product Launches: Assist team in new product launch planning and execution according to new product development process.
  • Support and manage projects in collaboration with the Director, Global Marketing
  • Support the new product development process partnering with cross
- functional teams

  • Lead competitive analysis on the category and in support of innovation
  • Gather all necessary content for launch strategy decks
  • Help analyze and manage product COGs to ensure favorable profitability to the brand
  • Conduct competitive research to help inform product and pricing strategy.
  • Support the execution of the sampling strategy in partnership with operational marketing
  • Issue and update new launch programs in project management software.
  • Support Director in Global forecast analysis and lead preparation of the forecasting decks to guide markets at time of forecast
  • Develop all briefs (product development, packaging, creative, visual merchandising, assets development across all areas of deployment)
  • Support Director in creation and sending of key documents (Launch strategy decks, Forecasting decks, Launch reports, Global Memos)
  • Support Director in the creation of full 360 programs for each launch by defining a best in class launch and activation strategies and tools that best express the concept.
  • Ensure high standard of execution and consistency of message across all consumerfacing material and across internal documents
  • Brand Analytics
  • Prepare mix of business analysis.
  • Provide competitive launch reviews.
  • Send regular industry news, launches, innovations, and trends.
  • Support the Global Marketing department in other various ad hoc analytic projects.
  • Other Duties
  • Support the creation and update of dynamic presentation decks for internal and external communication (international meetings, strategic planning, quarterly business reviews, etc.).
  • Manage the creation and updates to crossfunctional documents (pricing sheets, line edit / assortment files, sample assortments, etc.)
  • Manage biweekly Global Memo issuance to all market partners.
  • Manage weekly agenda issuance for Global Marketing status with Brand President.
  • Meeting preparation: ensuring rooms are set up for various meetings with appropriate products, comps, etc.
  • Competitive product purchasing.
  • Manage product reserves and manage/coordinate product allocations for forecasting samples, creative shoots, market weeks, etc
  • Tasked to ensure the availability of material for photography

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 24 years of professional experience
  • Passionate about the beauty industry; familiarity with skincare/makeup formulations, ingredients and industry trends
  • Strong analytical skills and experience analyzing financial data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Highly collaborative and flexible strong ability to work with other cross functional partners with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
