- Take initiative to meet challenging project timelines and hour budgets;
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities for project success;
- Write and debug effective and safe control programs, which meet end user requirements and company expectations;
- Work with Robotic Programmers and HMI Programmers to ensure full functionality of the system;
- Maintain quality of equipment shipped;
- Ensure control programming of equipment and tooling is complete, safe, and functional;
- Meet requirements for internal runoffs, safety inspections, and other quality control procedures;
- Clear communication with project management staff and supervisors on issues that may arise;
- Debugging of electrical and mechanical systems as needed for operation of all machines;
- Effective communication with robotic programmers regarding necessary requirements to ensure a project runs smoothly;
- Uphold company quality objectives and play an active role in reaching continuous improvement objectives;
- Willingness to travel as required; and
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

- Willingness and ability to follow directions from peers within the Integration department;
- Excellent team player with organizational and time management skills;
- Safely operate fork trucks and overhead cranes;
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent; or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science; or equivalent with experience will be considered;
- 5+ years' experience in PLC programming;
- Machine programming (PLC/HMI) experience - Rockwell, GE;
- Safety system programming and troubleshooting experience;
- Network programming and troubleshooting experience;
- Experience in robotic welding (MIG, TIG, laser, spot) preferred;
- Commitment to company values; and
- Educational, training and experience requirements may be modified at the management team's discretion.
- Safety (OSHA, SDS), ANSI (RIA) standards.
- Understand the Company's EH&S policy and how it relates to this job;
- Be aware of OSHA & EPA laws and regulations as well as company rules and policies that pertain to this job;
- Work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and observe all company EH&S procedures;
- Immediately notify the supervisor if there is any safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly or if there are any questions regarding EH&S procedures; and
- Attend required EH&S training.
- Physical demands: While performing duties of job, employee is typically required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; squat; climb; see; talk and hear. Be able to climb ladders; lift hand tools approx. 1-15 lbs. in weight to complete machine assembly, parts up to 50 lbs. Repetition with activity.
- Work environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate; temperature in the assembly area may fluctuate with the seasons, as the production area is not air-conditioned.
