    Description
    Customer Service Representative

    We are currently seeking a candidate with previous experience in a manufacturing / shipping environment and a strong customer service background for a client in Boardman, Ohio

    In this position, you will be working with a veteran-owned, minority business, established in 1998 as a multi-process manufacturing company. This company has grown at a rapid rate to serve multiple markets, including architectural and automotive lighting, out of their 91,000 square feet production facility.     Shift:
    • 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
    Pay:
    • $18 / hour
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Maintains customer records by updating account information
    • Receives / creates customer orders by gathering / analyzing / inputting data into Visual ERP
    • Prepares purchase requisitions for purchased components
    • Prepares product / service work orders for production / distribution to production board / floor
    • Work with Production Supervisors / lead hands / shipping department to ensure customer needs are met
    • Monitor order / shipping status
    • Advise customer of order status / delivery times / rush orders
    • Resolves product / service challenges with the quality / production departments
    • Keep records of customer interactions / transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments
    • Prepare pre-shipping documents for shipper
    Minimum Requirements:
    • High School Diploma / GED
    • 2+ years of customer service experience
    • Positive verbal / non-verbal communication
    • Strong analytical / problem solving skills
    • Must be detail-oriented
    • Basic computer literacy
    • Time Management skills
