Our Story

Responsibilities

  • Assist with new employee onboarding, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientations, and coordinating training sessions.
  • Provide support to employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Respond to HR related inquiries
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans
  • Administer benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records and HRIS data.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion programs, and HR policy updates.
  • Stay uptodate on HR laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Strong knowledge of FMLA/CFRA/PDL/FEHA/ADA/AAP/CAL-EEOC/FLSA/HIPPA
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams and departments to support organizational goals and initiatives.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree
    required preferably in Psychology, Human Resources, or other related field
  • HR Certification is a plus (i.e. aPHR)
  • 5+ years of HR experience required
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations
  • Detailoriented
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (BambooHR is preferred)

Pay:
Starting at $28/hour

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to manipulate equipment, and to talk and hear.

Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is high to moderate.
