Join Community Options, Inc., a leading national non-profit agency dedicated to serving individuals with disabilities across 12 states.

We are currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Caregivers, Direct Care Staff, and Home Health Aides in Bloomsburg, PA to deliver personalized care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This role offers a great opportunity for professional development while impacting lives positively. As a Floater at Community Options, flexibility in your schedule and availability to cover various shifts are key.

We are excited to offer a $250 Sign-On Bonus for New Hires (subject to completing 90 days of satisfactory employment).

Pay-Rate: $18.10 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Provide personalized care aligned with individuals' Support Plans
Support daily routines including cleaning, cooking, and medication administration
Monitor health needs and report any concerns promptly
Assist in skill development and community engagement
Participate in social and recreational activities
Transport individuals to appointments and community activities
Maintain accurate program documentation
Build a strong support network for individuals
Maintain a clean and safe environment
Cooperate with licensing and department staff
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Ability to build supportive relationships
Sound judgment and crisis management skills
Strong communication and time management abilities
Flexible availability

Working Conditions:

Work in residential and community settings
Transport individuals using own or company vehicles
Varied schedules including evenings and weekends
Possible overtime and lifting requirements
