- A minimum of 3 years in a business systems analyst capacity or similar, with a concentration on accounting or financial systems.
- Demonstrated ability in diagnosing, evaluating, and remedying system and process complications.
- Solid experience in liaising with IT and accounting teams to convert business necessities into technical requisites.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of procedures and controls related to Budgeting, Account Coding (chart of accounts), Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Vendor Management.
- Experience with accounting and procurement web applications.
- Experience with online ticketing/problem tracking systems.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly those encompassing a robust accounting module.
- Experience in system upgrade or migration projects, especially concerning accounting systems.
- Knowledge of CGI Advantage Financial application and Ivalua eProcurement system is advantageous but not mandatory.
- ServiceNow Application knowledge for logging and tracking problem tickets.
- Understanding web application code behavior (JAVA, HTML, XML)
- Review server and system logging to identify unexpected results.
- XML and interface file layout and content
- Typically has 2 to 5 years of programming/systems analysis experience.
- SQL knowledge to analyze, manipulate, and produce output from the database (SQL server is preferred)
- 3 years experience working with accounting and/ or accounting concepts.
- CGI Advantage Financial Application or previous experience with accounting web applications.
- Ivalua Procurement software or an understanding of procurement processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Accounting, or Information Technology.
- Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP).
