    Job Title: Damage Field Investigator
    Company: Project Resources Group (PRG)

    We are in search of an outside plant expert for our Damage Field Investigator position in the area. If you are self-motivated, organized, and comfortable with an On-Call schedule, this might just be the perfect fit for you.

    On a typical day, your responsibilities will include:
    • On-site investigation of underground and aerial cable plant damages
    • Understanding and applying State Dig Laws, excavator requirements, and NESC standards
    • Building professional relationships with clients, contractors, technicians, and management
    • Conducting interviews at damage sites
    • Photographing and documenting damage scenes
    • Collaborating with clients and contractors on repair costs
    • Compiling investigation material for reporting
    • Assisting Claims Recovery team
    • Developing market reports and leading client meetings
    • Being available for damage calls and responses
    • Understanding the PRG claims process

    To excel in this role, you should have:
    • A reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license and insurance
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
    • Investigation experience
    • Knowledge of the cable or utility locate industry
    • Preference given to those with telephone industry experience, flexible work schedules, law enforcement background, or claims experience
