Tutor - Willow Street, United States - Lancaster Reading Solutions

Description

We are looking for people excited about helping kids who learn differently and need a specialized approach to reading and/or math.

Teaching experience and certification is a plus as is experience with an Orton-Gillingham approach. Our students need dedicated professional assistance.

All new hires are expected to undergo intensive training (6 to 8 sessions of two hours over ZOOM plus outside work - not compensated) prior to working with students for pay.

The training is well organized and excellent live instruction. Tutoring takes place in our Willow Street office near the Willow Street UCC Preschool or in students' homes. Some online opportunities exist but our need is in-person tutoring at this time.

You make your own schedule when tutoring and take on as many or as few students as you would like.

There is plenty of mentoring and tutor support. We are constantly busy.

Additional work for tutors may be available in our companion hybrid homeschool program, LRS microSchool which is K through 12.

Teachers, substitutes and homeschool evaluators are frequently required. We are a family friendly company.
