Description
OverviewThe Human Resource Coordinator supports all functions relative to the human resources departments. The Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for addressing and troubleshooting home office, store, and employee, including new hire issues.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
Coordinates and implements policies, processes, and training, in support of the HR Department- Provides customer service support, troubleshooting, and guidance with onboarding- Supports new store opening HR Field Representative Trainers with mass hire and mass onboarding events- Monitors and ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws- Initiates/facilitates (background checks, drug testing, pre-hire training)- Assist in data entry, filing HR documents- Assist in maintaining company databases Workday and Dimensions- Assist in maintaining deadlines and support documentation for any HR records/files- Assist in communicating any changes in policies and procedures- Assist in HR administrative reporting- Assists with special projects
The position requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Strong human relations and relationship building skills
- Comply with internal policies, procedures and State, Federal and Local laws
- Ability to work independently, with mínimal supervision, under tight deadlines and under pressure
- Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and meet departmental deadlines
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Great customer service/human relations skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective time management skills
- Strong conflict management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or in pursuit, is preferred
