Description
The Program Manager SKGS will provide professional government and commercial contract management for the contracts assigned.This position requires a high degree of professionalism, ethics, planning, organization, attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, written communication, and dependability.
Support / Management- Provide overall contract management and leadership for existing contracts.
- Act as the Single Point of Contact for Contracting Officers and clients.
- Manage contract employees both onsite and offsite.
- Recruit, hire, develop, discipline and terminate employees.
- Interface with contract personnel to determine viable ways to grow existing contracts and develop new leads.
- Develop and manage contract budgets, P&L for assigned contracts and area of responsibility
- Develop contacts in the government and business arenas to garner new business for S&K.
- Strengthen existing lines of business and initiate opportunities to explore new business venues that would be profitable to S&K.
- Develop viable partnerships with other government contractor businesses to strengthen S&K's chances for winning work.
- Assist in company strategy development, budgets, office management, and financial management requirements.
- Provide support as requested for financial deliverables, purchase orders and for administrative purposes and in support of the Quality Management System across CMSS.
- Other duties as assigned by the Vice-President, Operations, or the President.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Business Administration, or other related field
OR 7 years' experience with college credits may be substituted
Experience
- 1 year of related experience performing government contract program management and personnel leadership and administration
- Experience supporting direct contracts preferable
License, Cert or Registration
- Current drivers' license
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
- The ability to obtain security clearance enabling access to various Government facilities.
Special knowledge, skills, & abilities
- To perform this job successfully, an individual will have knowledge of the Microsoft development suite, and the Microsoft Office suite of software and knowledgeable of Web and Network architectures.
- Must possess an excellent understanding of technical issues, ability to communicate verbally and in written form effectively, and the ability to work within U.S. Government contractual realm.
- Success managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Adaptable to changing requirements and tasks.
- Successfully perform basic mathematical functions as required in a business and/or engineering setting.
- Specialized knowledge of FAA systems, equipment, procedures, and operations is highly desired.
