The Senior Analyst, Indirect Tax – USCAN is responsible, in collaboration with the Cytiva Indirect Tax Team, for ensuring that Cytiva complies with all Indirect Tax obligations in the USCAN region including Sales and Use Tax Reporting, GST/PST Reporting and on time payments.
You will be part of a team that is supporting our commercial teams to deliver for our customers, you will support our sourcing team to ensure that goods are in the right place at the right time.
You will be part of a truly global team – Indirect Tax Team covers New Zealand to Hawaii, US and a 22-hour time zone difference.
This position is part of the Global Indirect Tax Team and will be located in the United States as a remote position.

You will support our Indirect Tax compliance processes in US and Canada to ensure that Cytiva entities pay the right tax, at the right time.
You will be responsible for ensuring our that our US Tax Held process runs smoothly and that we are claiming due credits in a timely and compliant manner.
You will work with our Customer Services Team in ensuring that we collect the correct tax exemption certificates to support sales where tax has not been accounted on the basis of a relevant exemption.
You will support on Audits from relevant taxing authorities.Ensuring that information is collated in an efficient manner and that responses are made on time and in a clear and transparent way.
Who you are:
You will have a Bachelor's degree and be an Indirect Tax Professional with at least 2 years' experience working in an Indirect Tax environment, either in Industry or in a professional services environment.
You will have a working knowledge of Tax Determination Systems, how they operate on both the AR and AP processes.
You will have a proven track record of being able to work independently whilst keeping team members updated on progress.
You will have experience in liaising directly with Taxing Authorities, both in terms of providing information but also challenging their assumptions and assessments.
You will be knowledgeable in the preparation and submission of refund claims. This includes the pulling together of the information and the negotiation with the State to bring to conclusion.At Cytiva we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
