JOB TITLE:
Physician Practice Management liaison
STATUS:Non-Exempt
DEPARTMENT:
North Country Primary Care and Specialty Practices
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
This position performs and coordinates, with limited supervision a broad variety of project coordination and administrative duties for the Physician Practice Management Team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND WORK ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meet with management daily during huddles to hear management plan for the day and execute accordingly
- Position staff appropriately and fill gaps as needed, i.e. based on daily call outs etc.
- Assign lunch schedules to all practice staff and release people for lunch when needed
- Round to providers to gather a list of daily needs:
- Problems with computers
- Problems with staffing
- Problems with daily plan
- Manage timeoff requests (must pass through management for verification)
- Organize and coordinate work day for Administrative Coordinator to ensure work flow success
- Generate monthly reports for the Physician Practices
- Coordinates Provider Call Schedule Distrib ution and updates
- Creates and maintains shared Outlook calendars for Provider CME and ETO leave requests
- Ensures that all meetings are added as blocks to the provider's schedule in the electronic health record
- Coordinates meeting schedules to ensure that all required meetings are occurring on a monthly basis
- Coordinates scheduling and preparation for all monthly Provider Meetings including compiling reports and preparation of agendas
- Coordinates all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable invoices; coding and preparation as well for Pr actice Manager approval
- Communicates any significant or ongoing problems to the Practice Management Team
- Order entry of supplies
- Assists and coordinates maintenanceof office equipment
- Recognizes and promotes the importance of teamwork as well as having respect for individuals. Maintains excellent communication with all staff and providers
- Coordinates other projects as assigned
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Pharmaceutical representatives

Working Conditions:
- North Country Primary Care Physician Practices and Specialty Pr actice, Hospital
- Hospital setting generally 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Frequent multitasking and prioritization of multiple patient needs is required
- Exposed to all patient elements includingexposure to human waste, blood and body fluids as well as hazardous substances

Education:
Two to four years experience in a medical office setting. Associates degree or business management or equivalent preferred.
