Part-Time Grant Writer - Bridge Club of Greater Lowell

Organization Overview:

The Bridge Club of Greater Lowell is a respected nonprofit recovery center dedicated to providing comprehensive support services for individuals on their journey to recovery.

We offer a range of programs, including recovery coaching, detox, rehab, sober living placement, and specialized services for veterans and individuals reentering society from incarceration.

Our mission is to empower our clients, offering them the support and resources they need to rebuild their lives.


Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Grant Writer who is passionate about our mission.

The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching, developing, and writing grant proposals to state and federal entities and managing grants that have been awarded.

This role requires someone with a sharp eye for detail, excellent writing skills, and the ability to work independently, and experience with grant writing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and research potential grant opportunities.
• Develop, write, and submit compelling grant proposals.
• Manage grant submissions, including tracking and reporting on grant statuses.
• Collaborate with our program and finance departments to gather information necessary for grant proposals.
• Maintain a calendar of submissions and other deadlines

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in grant writing; experience with state and federal grants is preferred but not required.
• Strong written communication skills; ability to write clear, structured, articulate, and persuasive proposals.
• Strong editing skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• A selfmotivated learner with the ability to monitor and meet income goals.

$10, $100,000.00 per year
