Do you want to get into healthcare or nursing and have no prior experience? DeRidder Retirement & Rehabilitation Center's Nurse Aide Training Program is the launching path for you

***We have new pay scales and are offering sign-on bonuses***

Come join our compassionate team and learn in the classroom and on the job with hands-on experience while earning your Certified Nursing Assistant license. The healthcare industry is the most rewarding field DeRidder Retirement & Rehabilitation Center covers 100% of the cost for the NATP course as well as your test upon completion of the course within our facility for those individuals selected.

Job Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Commitment to scheduled class & work hours with expectation of obtaining certification
Experience working and communicating with seniors is desired
Work effectively with general supervision, ability to organize and manage own work load in a busy
Able to accommodate resident requests for assistance within scope of non-certified assistance
Ability to communicate well with residents and families promoting customer service and must maintain a calm and warm working environment with team members
Meet the physical job demands of the position

Hours of Work: As Scheduled. Works weekends and holidays as scheduled.
