OVERVIEW

Starting wage is based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.

The Receptionist is a professional and friendly individual responsible for providing excellent customer service to visitors, clients, and employees while managing administrative tasks efficiently.


JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:


  • Greet visitors, clients, and employees as they arrive at the distribution center in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls to appropriate individuals or departments as needed.
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and always welcoming.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding availability, pricing, and product information.
  • Preform freight quotes upon the request of sales staff based upon info provided by sales team.
  • Assist with ordering showroom swatch material needed for orders and requests.
  • Maintaining and ordering office supplies as needed for the facility.
  • Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and escalate issues to the appropriate department or manager when necessary.
  • Coordinate appointment times with customers and sales team members to ensure availability and accommodate scheduling preferences.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
  • Track and maintain accurate showroom foot traffic metrics per standard format.
  • Update and maintain customer records, contact information, and other relevant data in the company's computer system.
  • Ensure all customers leave with a positive experience and are thanked for their visit

Basic Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proven experience in the construction industry.
  • Previous experience in receptionist or customer service role.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Positive attitude, selfmotivated, and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc....).

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 4 to 6 years' additional education or training in office administration or customer service.
  • Previous distribution center experience in receptionist or customer service role.

_PAY RANGE_
Position pays base wage of $25 to $27 per hour.


WORK LOCATION

Onsite - In order to fulfill responsibilities of the Receptionist position, this job is required to work in a specific Cancos tile & Stone manufacturing, production, or office environment.

Additional details will be provided during the interview process.

POSTION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position that requires working on Saturdays. A designated off day, during the week, will be assigned.
