    Job Description

    This role entails managing the operations necessary to prepare Great Lakes blueberries for marketing while maximizing returns for growers. The responsibilities cover various areas across the Great Lakes region.



    Key Responsibilities

    • Operations Management
    • Oversee daily operations of Great Lakes, including warehouse management and truck scheduling
    • Recruit and train staff, develop budgets, and ensure safety compliance
    • Manage fruit logistics and pack plans
    • Control inventory and develop production forecasts
    • Manage supply acquisition and delivery

    Additional Duties
    • Quality Assurance and Safety
    • Ensure food and worker safety compliance
    • Maintain warehouse facilities and equipment
    • Producer Relations
    • Support producer meetings and educational programs
    • Build and maintain grower relationships

    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in agriculture or related field
    • Five years' experience in agriculture, production, or operations
    • Strong management and communication skills

    Location: Grand Junction, MI
    Hours: Full-time, permanent position
