    Description:

    Are you ready to live the island life? Seeking a Bartender to join our team at Tommy Bahama's Marlin Bar, where guests can shop, enjoy frozen cocktails, and indulge in light fare in a laid-back atmosphere.


    Responsibilities:

    • Create a relaxed destination by greeting guests warmly and assisting with their food, beverage, and retail needs
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of menus, products, and participate in training sessions
    • Ensure a clean and safe environment while maintaining stock levels and proper cash handling
    • Verify guest identifications and adhere to company policies
    • Perform other duties as needed to support the business


    Requirements:

    • Meet minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 1 year of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant
    • Prior guest service experience
    • Valid food handler's card and alcohol service certification
    • Enthusiasm to learn about Tommy Bahama products


    Physical Requirements:

    • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
    • Bend, stoop, kneel frequently
    • Occasional climbing of ladders
    • Ability to stand for long periods, potential travel required
    • Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
