The Role


The SQL Report Writer/Developer works under the guidance of the Director of IT Applications and is accountable for designing, developing, testing, and deploying data-driven reports that fulfill the organization's requirements.


Responsibilities:


What You Will Do

  • Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other Business Intelligence (BI) solutions that enable leadership to define strategies, monitor trends and operations, and aid clinical research reporting, operational process improvement, and strategic initiatives.
  • Use tools and techniques to visualize data in easytounderstand formats such as diagrams and graphs; manage those visualizations in Tableau or other BI solutions.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed report specifications based on requirements gathered by interviewing customers and reading specifications from third parties.
  • Responsible for learning and understanding data structures in standard SQL systems, EMR systems, and other data systems.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting, researching, and solving any service desk tickets related to reports or dashboards.
  • Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

Who You Will Be

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in SQL development
  • Five (5) to eight (8) of experience designing and developing business intelligence dashboards
  • Five (5) to eight (8) of healthcare report writing experience.
  • Competency in written, interpersonal, verbal, and computational skills to present and document records following program standards.
