Description

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Research and prepare analysis of municipal zoning codes.
Prepare Site plans and Landscape Plans
Develop and manage relationships with municipal staff and officials.
Understand and clearly communicate the needs of different jurisdictions to internal and external stakeholders.
Negotiate and finalize entitlements from municipalities.
Negotiate contracts for services to be performed by outside consultants such as land use attorney, architects, and civil engineers.
Preparation of graphics and materials using AutoCAD and Adobe Suite
Knowledge of grading and drainage
Design guidelines, land development standards, narratives, and other project creative writing
Bachelor's degree in real estate, urban planning, architecture, engineering or related field
At least 4 years of experience in planning or architecture related fields preferred. Master's degree may be considered in lieu of experience.
Keen understanding of commercial development process
Ability to read and understand complex zoning codes, general plans, specific plans, and technical reports.
Excellent organization and people skills including the ability to work with a wide variety of staff levels from senior executives to administrative staff.
Comprehensive understanding of site development process
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while maintaining a high attention to detail.

About Us
Since 1945, U-Haul has been serving do-it-yourself movers and their households. Like many other successful ventures, the concept for U-Haul was generated out of need.

After World War II, there existed the widespread need for do-it-yourself moving equipment that would be available on a one-way, nationwide basis.
