PeaceHealth is looking for a Respiratory Therapist for a position available on the night shift, full-time, 0.90 FTE.

Salary range for this job at PeaceHealth is $34.23 – $55.84, based on various factors like location, responsibilities, and qualifications.

This role is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Multiple positions may be open for this job.

Our Respiratory Therapists handle various tasks in clinical settings, from intubations to diagnostic bronchoscopies in intensive care and emergency units.

They take care of cardio-pulmonary needs of patients, ranging from routine procedures to critical care and transport support.

Key responsibilities:

Providing respiratory care including testing, oxygen delivery, and life support.
Patient assessment, monitoring, and care planning.
Maintaining and troubleshooting equipment.
Participating in education and training.
Being part of response teams.
Ventilator and NPPV management.
Other assigned duties.

Requirements:

Completion of an Accredited Respiratory Care Program.
NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist exam to be passed within 6 months of hire.
Minimum 2 years acute care experience preferred.
Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
Basic Life Support certification.
Additional certifications required upon hire.

Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Expertise in operating respiratory equipment.
Ability to handle critical care situations effectively.
Strong time management skills.
