Your Impact at SAM:

Key Responsibilities:

Field Crew Coordination: Manage and coordinate 1 to 5 survey field crews onsite, ensuring they adhere to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Construction Computations: Interpret survey data, engineering drawings, and project specifications to accurately draft construction computations using Civil D software.

Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients onsite, addressing inquiries, providing progress updates, and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely manner.

Contractor Collaboration: Collaborate closely with contractors to facilitate seamless communication and coordination, ensuring project objectives are met according to specifications.

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including field reports, progress updates, and other relevant records. Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to stakeholders as needed.

Problem Solving: Proactively identify challenges or obstacles that may arise during project execution and work collaboratively with teams to develop and implement effective solutions.

Team Support: Provide guidance, support, and training to field crews as needed, fostering a positive and productive work environment.


What You Bring to SAM:

  • Strong understanding of construction computations, and surveying techniques.
  • Experience in Civil3D or Carlson Survey
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various construction sites as needed.
