Summary

  • Childcare Licensing, the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control and the State Fire Marshal. All teachers must be able to build a positive rapport with children, parents and staff.

Duties


Infant/Toddler teachers are responsible for developing and maintaining a cohesive teaching team, managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom.

Be able to plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, physical, cognitive and emotional growth.

Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, daily reports, and parent-teacher conferences. Ensure a healthy classroom environment


Requirements:


  • At least one year experience in a licensed childcare facility.
  • Be 18 and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to get on the floor and play with children.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a full background check.
  • Must be able to lift 35 lbs. and pass a health assessment.
  • Have high energy and a strong work ethic.
  • Must be a team player and get along well with others.
  • Must be flexible, dependable and maintain a positive attitude.
