We are actively seeking a detail-oriented Civil Engineering Construction Inspector to play a pivotal role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Provide construction inspection services for public civil engineering construction projects, ensuring adherence to contract specifications.
Inspect contractor installation and rehabilitation of sewer, water main, roadway, sidewalk, curb, concrete, signage, water connections, and appurtenances.
Produce detailed daily inspection reports, summarizing contractor staffing, work activities, and pay amounts.
Review and maintain accurate T&M records as required.
Utilize expertise to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Ensure site safety standards and maintenance and protection of traffic.

Qualifications:

NICET II-IV, EIT, CMIT, or equivalent job experience.
Strong time management and decision making abilities.
Ability to communicate with contractor staff, resident engineering team and the public.
