    Human Resources Generalist

    Location: Fully onsite in Baltimore, MD

    Client Overview:

    Our client, a leading company based in Baltimore, Maryland, is looking to expand their Human Resources team with a dedicated HR Generalist. This position plays a vital role in supporting and enhancing the company's workforce management and organizational development.

    Job Description:

    We are currently seeking a skilled HR Generalist for our client in Baltimore. This temp-to-hire position is ideal for individuals who possess a robust background in Human Resources and are ready to tackle challenges in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will manage various HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in recruitment processes, including posting job ads, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating hiring discussions.
    • Manage employee relations, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure a positive workplace environment.
    • Support the administration of employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other company benefits.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
    • Conduct new employee orientations and employee training sessions.
    • Manage records and compile reports from the database as needed to support decision-making processes.
    • Participate in performance management processes, including performance reviews and employee development planning.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years in Human Resources.
    • Strong understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
    • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws and practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Aptitude in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
    • Experience with HR software and systems (e.g., HRIS or ATS).
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.

    Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
