Responsibilities

  • Solicit new carriers to join our carrier network
  • Develop longterm relationships with shippers and carriers
  • Build and manage existing carrier network to ensure we can meet the needs of shipping customers
  • Continually work on improving customer service, transit times and transportation costs
  • Coordinate logistics activity, including scheduling arrival dates and delivery appointments
  • Track and trace orders for each load in our system and complete all loadrelated paperwork
  • Actively participate in transportation bids for current and prospective clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated success in a proactive sales environment
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Excellent customer service and problemsolving skills
  • Detail orientated with analytical and technical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fastpaced environment
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to crosssell services across all brands
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
