- General accounting duties
- Perform all accounting areas responsibilities, training will be provided.
- Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval.
- Prepares accounts payable checks.
- Posts all open items in accounts payable daily.
- Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
- Reconciles cash schedule.
- Communicates cash requirements for payable dates to the office manager.
- Analyzes vendor accounts.
- Answers all vendor inquiries.
- Assists in monthly closings.
- Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
- Perform accounts receivable duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Experience in accounting, automotive experience is a plus.
- Dealertrack and/or Reynolds & Reynolds Experience is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
