Beach Village at The Del offers an exclusive collection of deluxe beachfront lodgings situated within the iconic backdrop of Hotel del Coronado. Featuring cottages and villas ranging from one to three bedrooms, complete with fireplaces, marble bathrooms, and private patios or balconies.

A Beach Village Host/Hostess plays a vital role in maintaining a high level of professionalism and a positive demeanor while effectively and courteously assisting our Beach Village guests, contributing to exceptional guest service and financial success.

What will I be doing?

Handle the pre-planning of the Beach Village experience for all scheduled Beach Village arrivals.
Coordinate and confirm verbally and via itinerary the guest arrival schedule and all planned activities for each Beach Village guest in advance of arrival.
Manage the arrival, hotel orientation, and departure of all Beach Village guests.
Check guests in/out of the hotel using the hotel computer system.
Make future hotel or Beach Village reservations for guests.
Address all guest requests; provide suggestions and make arrangements to elevate the overall guest experience.
Act as a liaison between Beach Village guests and all operating departments to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Assist Beach Village guests in making dining and other reservations, ensuring seamless execution.
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the work area.
Review daily information board to prepare for arrivals and special requests.
Adhere to department and hotel procedures and policies.
Provide support to all hotel departments as needed.
Follow guidelines outlined in the Hotel del Coronado Associate Handbook.
Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the leadership team.
Capable of handling and fulfilling guests' requests, surpassing their expectations by delivering personalized services and accurate information.

The hourly rate is $19.42 - $22.85 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
