New Job Description:

This role plays a crucial part in providing internal technology services within the organization. Joining a dynamic team, the position involves delivering top-notch, cost-effective services ranging from client computing hardware and software to service/help desk support and field service delivery. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware issues, ensuring optimal workstation performance, and mentoring other End User Computing personnel. Collaboration with IT and business leadership is key to implementing technology strategies and operational support.

The focus lies on service management and delivering high-quality customer service to our end user environment. Key responsibilities include providing timely responses to customer inquiries and requests, efficient operation of computing environments, and maintaining and monitoring desktop operations.

Main Responsibilities:

Deliver End User Computing (EUC) technology services, level 3 support, and manage incidents/requests
Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot endpoints and devices for required service levels
Analyze and resolve complex problems, working effectively with vendors for solutions
Collaborate with system/network administrators for efficient operation of EUC computing environments
Develop and maintain procedures for logging and monitoring desktop operations
Provide timely communications with users and staff, innovate business solutions, and research EUC products for purchase
Administer Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, manage end user workstations, and support application deployments
Strategize and manage EUC roadmaps aligned with industry standards and best practices
Ensure standards compliance through automated tools and reporting, act as escalation point for EUC incidents/requests
Manage resources effectively to ensure successful service delivery and perform other duties as required

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Industry certifications such as A+, MTA, or Network+ are preferred
Minimum 5-7 years' experience in end user support, preferably in a large corporate setting
Extensive experience with Windows workstation environments including Active Directory, Azure, MECM, and Intune
Knowledge of desktop, laptop, and tablet hardware, configuration, and troubleshooting
Experience with Microsoft 365, Outlook, and other business applications
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Highly self-motivated with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Adaptability to changing technology landscapes and ability to work across multiple sites and countries
Experience with system integration projects and project management skills

Working Conditions:

Sitting for extended periods, operating computer components, and lifting moderately heavy objects
Frequent requirements for special projects and emergency response, including evening/early morning maintenance
Not limited to standard hours; may require 24x7x365 availability for maintenance and emergencies
