Job Summary:
The Scribe will be responsible for accurately recording information from medical records, tests, diagnoses, and treatments. This role requires a quick learner with excellent communication and data entry skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transcribe and enter data into the patient's medical record,
- Obtain verbal consent from patients to collect medical information,
- Ensure accuracy of medical data entered into patient's medical record,
- Work with physicians to ensure accuracy of medical orders,
- Assist with medical record requests from other healthcare providers,
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information

Education and Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree with prehealth career track preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy a plus
- Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, wordprocessing, and database software programs
