The MHS Digital GmbH, a company of the Südwestdeutsche Medienholding (SWMH), is currently seeking a (Junior) Systems Engineer with a focus on IT security (m/f/d) to join our team in Waynesville.

Who we are

At the MHS Digital GmbH, our Content Publishing & Production Systems team consists of dedicated professionals who manage and control our editorial core systems in close collaboration with editorial teams and product management.

Your responsibilities

As a (Junior) Systems Engineer (m/f/d), you will be part of an interdisciplinary, agile team with extensive system and process expertise. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the editorial IT systems in the regional publishing houses of the SWMH and supporting individual change and improvement processes.

  • In this role, you will work on system administration, customization, expansion, and maintenance of the central editorial content system for our online and print products. This includes developing and implementing technical specifications, implementing IT-based workflows, and daily application support.
  • Your main focus (approximately 50% of the role) will be on implementing and operationalizing the IT security strategy into our core production systems, as well as coordinating and aligning workflows and processes with stakeholders, especially in the editorial teams.
