    The ideal candidate will use their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics.

    They will be responsible for conducting both recurring and ad hoc analysis for business users.

    ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the day-to-day issues that our business faces, which can be better understood with dataCompile and analyze data related to business' issuesDevelop clear visualizations to convey complicated data in a straightforward fashion

    QualificationsBachelor's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent is ideal1-7 years of Data Analysis experienceProficient in SQL

    NotesTOP 4 MUST HAVESWorking with stakeholders, gathering requirements and objectives, etcCreating custom reportsCreating dashboards from scratch.

    Using Power BI is ideal but open to similar tools such as Tableau, etcThey use a lot of SQL queries, stored procedures, creating tables, etc.

    NICE TO HAVESExperience performing ad hoc reporting and ad hoc analysis of trends to help specifically with helping drive business performance forwardIdeally working with large volumes of dataExperience with Python or similarSSIS and SSMS experienceSSRS and Excel experience to build custom reportsBasic Azure experienceBasic data transformation and data warehouse experience, etc.

    OTHER INSIGHTSThey have 2 databases this person can pull data from:

    An ERP where they pull their financial reports from (Not a must have experience) and SQL Server where they can typically pull any type of report they need.

    Oracle would be another similar database that would translate well (Most ideal - either one).
