Rate depends on education level, previous experience in the field & supervisory experience. The starting rate is generally 18/hour ($18-19 depending on experience), and promotional opportunities with consistent raises are available

Our residential treatment center is located conveniently in Chula Vista. _Our beautiful large campus provides a setting where staff can engage teens in fun outdoor games, mindful activities, collaborative _problem-solving, mediation strategies, and many more activities that promote self-control, regulation, _and healthy emotional outlets_

We need creative, motivated, passionate, and dedicated staff who can engage our vulnerable population of teens.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Actively
    engage SED teens in daily activities.
  • Assist teens with daily living skills, selfesteem building, and emotional regulation skills.
  • Work with a skilled team to provide crisis intervention skills and deescalate teens.
  • Participate in ongoing training to build your knowledge base on how trauma impacts behaviors, deescalation techniques, meditation strategies, and behaviorspecific interventions.

Qualifications/Requirements:


  • BA/BS strongly preferred. AA with 12 credits in child care and experience will be considered.
  • Experience with teens is a BIG plus.

Pay:
$ $19.00 per hour
