Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the strategy and execution of U.S.

benefits at Oaktree, ensuring competitive and comprehensive benefits packages that meet regulations, fit employee needs and align with the organization's objectives and values.


  • Oversee the U.S. benefits strategy by designing and administering healthcare, wellness, and retirement offerings that attract, engage and retain our employees.
  • Stay uptodate and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Manage relationships with benefit vendors (i.e. brokers, insurance carriers, recordkeepers), trustees and other administrative service providers. Lead contract negotiations to ensure the benefits strategy aligns with overall companywide strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication and onboarding strategy for all benefit and wellness programs. Create and/or maintain benefit policies, procedures, and program material and ensure information is uptodate.
  • Own the U.S. benefits budget. Monitor and operate within the parameters of the approved US health and welfare budget with respect to daily operations, seeking approval for escalated expense and initiatives.
  • Lead and support the Benefits Manager in daily operations including enrollments, delivery of benefits materials and orientation, ongoing audits and troubleshooting
  • Serve as escalation point in responding to daily benefits questions and claims issues
  • Collaborate with the Workday Technical team to ensure effective and efficient integrations U.S. health and welfare vendors
  • Oversee the wellness program plan design and initiatives
  • Oversee the annual 401(k) audit, nondiscrimination testing, and completion of all applicable tax filings
  • Support firmwide Diversity & Inclusion efforts by ensuring equitable offerings and partnering closely with Head of D&I on annual reporting
  • Analyze processes to ensure efficiency; make suggestions for improvements
  • Collaborate with EMEA and APAC benefits teams to support a global strategy

Qualifications:


  • Minimum seven years' experience in Human Resources, with experience in Benefits and preferably within a financial services firm;
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and selfinitiating other valueadded tasks.
  • Must be able to handle highly confidential information and situations with professionalism and tact.

Education

Bachelor's degree is required.

Base Salary Range

$130,000 - $150,000

In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a

comprehensive benefits package

and a flexible work arrangement.

The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience and/or qualifications, industry knowledge and expertise, as well as prior training and education.
