Position Summary:

This opening is for an Office Assistant at Woodex Bearing Company, Inc. It is a full-time, onsite, long-term position within our growing company.

The responsibilities for this position will cover two different areas:
administrative assistance and purchasing. Duties include shipping, scanning, filing, answering phones, and purchasing duties. The position will also interface with manufacturing, sales, engineering, and buyers.


To be successful as an Office Assistant, you must be willing to acquire an in-depth knowledge of Woodex/ MECO's products and services.


Office Assistant Responsibilities:


  • Handle incoming calls.
  • Filling and mail processing.
  • Coordinate shipping logistics and handle the various shipping paperwork.
  • Purchase of various materials for production and ensuing on time delivery is met.
  • Ensuring blueprints are up to date prior to purchasing materials.
  • Become knowledgeable of the entire Woodex/ MECO products line.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma with two or more years' experience in an administrative support role in a highly confidential environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organization and time management.
  • Good team working skills.
