Summary:

The Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Division in the Michael E.

DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine seeks a board-certified or board-eligible critical care surgeon to join as Instructor with its affiliates, CHI Baylor St.

Luke's Medical Center and Ben Taub General Hospital.

Job Duties:

Conduct clinical activities at Harris Health
Ben Taub Hospital and CHI St. Luke's Medical Center.
Contribute to the success of the organization through high quality patient care services.
Provide call coverage at Harris Health
Ben Taub Hospital and CHI St. Luke's Medical Center
Actively participate in college, department, hospital and clinical professional meetings.
Grow the acute care surgery division through participation in clinical, research, and education efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
Texas Medical Board certification or eligibility.
Completion of a certified general surgery residency program.
American Board of Surgery certification or eligibility for general surgery and/or surgical critical care.
