Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Office Manager & Dental Assistant to join our team.

As an Office Manager as well as Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients.

This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in healthcare and a passion for helping others.


Responsibilities:


  • If manager role wanted, previous management experience recommended but not required
- even the passion for growth or management is encouraged.
- for assistant, a main role is to Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing materials and instruments

  • Take and develop dental xrays
  • Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification as a Dental Assistant is preferred
  • Previous experience working in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Skills:


  • Hospital experience
  • Medical office experience
  • Critical care experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Understanding of healthcare management principles
  • Budgeting skills for managing supplies and equipment inventory
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy protection
  • Utilization management skills for optimizing resources and patient care outcomes
  • Basic understanding of human resources practices in a healthcare setting

Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

  • Chicago, IL 60626: Relocate before starting work (required)
