Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and direct all financial and accounting functions of the dealership, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management
  • Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
  • Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and variances and make recommendations for improvement
  • Coordinate with department managers to develop and monitor departmental budgets and track expenses
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all financial activities, such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax filings
  • Participate in the financial planning process and provide financial insight and analysis to assist with decision making
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, vendors, and other external partners
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to dealership financial management

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $200,000 per year, paid semi-monthly.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive accounting, with at least 3 years in a management role
  • Strong understanding of dealership accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficient in financial analysis and reporting
  • Experience with payroll and HR systems
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to dealership management
