Overview:

As a
Business Architect, you will be responsible for understanding business processes and needs, identifying opportunities, and translating them into capability roadmaps to streamline processes and drive efficiencies.

This role excels in bridging the gap between business and technology, and requires strong communication decomposing complex concepts in simple, non-technical terms.

You will play a crucial role in guiding project teams, ensuring they have the necessary strategies and supporting artifacts to implement their initiatives successfully.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist business stakeholders with modernizing their processes to support growth and sustainability through new or enhanced technical solutions.
  • Serve as the business process expert, providing process analysis and documentation of high level asis and tobe process maps for project teams to execute toward.
  • Deep understanding of the business problem to be solved, and benefits the proposed solutions will bring.
  • Represent the business and its needs to other contributors in the solution implementation process.
  • Partner with dependent, crossfunctional organizations to establish proper ownership and ensure end to end process fluidity.
  • Generate business capability maps, value streams, information architectures, process models, roadmaps, transition plans, and risk assessments.
  • Partner closely with Technical and Data Architects to ensure process designs are optimized and adhere to technical standards.
  • Assess project proposals for business impacts in alignment with IT strategy and enterprise architecture.
  • Broker discussions with executivelevel stakeholders for agreement on large/complex cross functional redesign efforts
  • Deep understanding of agile program delivery and methodology (certifications preferred)
  • Work with the business to establish current state metrics and future state KPIs.
  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years' experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience managing crossfunctional and/or crossteam projects.
  • 4+ years people management experience.
  • 4+ years conducting gap analysis
  • Experience collaborating between selforganizing, crossfunctional technical teams
  • Ability to provide impact analyses
  • Ability to provide risk analyses
  • Proven ability to define customerfocused scenarios, author business cases and track value realization, and drive keen insights and identify opportunities to develop solutions.
  • Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $125,000 - $145,000.

The compensation range is specific to the United States and incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
