    JOB TITLE:

    Solutions Architect (Nutanix Specialist)

    LOCATION:

    Hybrid – MKE Greater Area - North

    DURATION:

    6-12 Months

    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect contractor with deep knowledge and expertise in Nutanix . The ideal candidate will be responsible for articulating the necessity and benefits of Nutanix products to both executive and operational teams, as well as designing and presenting customized solutions that align with business objectives. The role involves evaluating architectural changes, designing data protection strategies, and ensuring business continuity.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Architectural Recommendations Oversight: Evaluate the impact of proposed architectural changes on business risk, resources, and costs. Provide oversight on which recommendations should be implemented.
    • Liaison Role: Act as a bridge between executive leadership and operational teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of Nutanix solutions between executive leadership and operational teams to maintain alignment with business goals.
    • Data Protection Strategies: Assist in the evaluation and architecture of data protection strategies, including cybersecurity, business continuity, and disaster recovery.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • MSP Experience: Experience working at a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is highly desirable.
    • Design and Presentation: Utilize whiteboarding sessions and other tools to effectively design and communicate architectural solutions to the business side.
    • Nutanix: Previous experience conducting business technical assessments and architectural recommendations for Nutanix environments.
    • Hybrid Work Model: Ability to work in a hybrid model, with regular presence required in the Greater Milwaukee Area.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    · Experience: Proven experience in IT architecture, with a preference for candidates who have worked extensively with Nutanix solutions. Demonstrated ability to evaluate and mitigate business risks associated with architectural changes; ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery plans are robust and effective.

    · Business Acumen: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language and outcomes as well as conducting business analysis to evaluate alignment needs and translate them into technical requirements. Provide oversight into implementation of recommendations while considering risk, resources, and cost.

    · Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Nutanix Best Practices/Products, data protection, business continuity, and disaster recovery principles. Evaluate and architect data protection strategies, including cybersecurity measures.

    · Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
