We are currently seeking a dedicated Business Lawyer/ Legal Counsel for Contract Management (m/f/d) to join our team in Mannheim.

You will provide legal advice to our operational business units in an international environment, particularly on complex offers and projects in plant construction.

Your responsibilities

  • Independent advice and support to operational business units in drafting, negotiating, concluding, and managing complex project contracts (particularly in the areas of sales, work contracts, and plant construction) in Germany and abroad
  • Enforcement of legal claims for Hitachi Energy
  • Support of operational units in internal processes, particularly in the area of risk reviews
  • Participation in national and international project teams with colleagues from other countries and other departments such as tax, human resources, accounting and reporting, and possibly external consultants
  • Collaboration with colleagues from foreign contract management departments, particularly in the European region
  • Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and instructions, as well as applicable laws
