GAC Services is an award-winning residential HVAC and electrical company in Gaithersburg, MD, and is currently looking for a Warehouse Associate.

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the purchasing and staging of all materials in the warehouse. Also, answering any calls from field workers on jobs.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Receiving inbound calls from technicians, vendors, and other internal employees.
  • Making outbound calls to technicians, vendors, and internal employees.
  • Verifying warranty coverage, ordering parts, checking pricing.
  • Managing inventory, restocking technicians.
  • Assisting with satellite warehouse.
  • Purchasing of all materials and equipment needed for jobs.
  • Staging and checking materials for all departments.
  • Picking up or delivering equipment/materials.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of building and fleet vehicles.
  • Assisting with fleet repairs and breakdowns.
  • Comply with all department rules, regulations, policies, procedures, internal controls and any local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • Always provide outstanding employee service.
  • Always present a neat and clean appearance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, possess and maintain a satisfactory driving record
  • Must be able to multitask and work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team.
  • Communicate effectively and report as necessary to the warehouse manager.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with exceptional followthrough ability.
  • Highly motivated, selfstarter who is flexible and has a positive attitude.
  • Reliable and task oriented.
