Job Summary:


This position operates as the key point of entry for the Maricopa Community Colleges supporting students in successfully accessing education and training services within the colleges for applicable grant programs.


The Program Coordinator will act as a liaison to services and resources on the campuses and is vital to developing the key data points needed to ensure program completion with in the Manufacturing / Semiconductor occupational field.

This position assists with the development, coordination, and implementation of activities to improve student success, and services and activities to improve retention, course completion, graduation, and/or transfer rates.

The estimated end date is June 30, 2025.


Essential Functions:


  • 35% Performs basic research and preliminary analysis related to program assignment; gathers pertinent information and compiles, analyzes, and summarizes data and information 25% Provides basic coordination and oversight of an assigned program; responds to inquiries and solves problems following policies and procedures 20% Creates original correspondence, reports, presentations, documents, and program materials 20% Provides basic program information to students, faculty, staff, and the public; provides troubleshooting support to resolve issues
    Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or a directly related field and one (1) year of experience researching information, gathering data, performing preliminary analysis, and preparing reports.


  • ORAssociates Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or a directly related field and two (2) years of experience researching information, gathering data, performing preliminary analysis, and preparing reports.

ORHigh School Diploma or G.E.D and four (4) years of experience researching information, gathering data, performing preliminary analysis, and preparing reports.


Desired Qualifications:

A. 2 years' experience providing customer service utilizing communication and interpersonal skills.
