The Camp CHEN-A-WANDA Baseball Director position is the perfect role for any graduating ball player, grad assistant/assistant coach, or former college athlete to build their coaching resume
The Baseball Director will take the reins of an entire baseball and softball program for over 500 campers aged from 7-16 years old.
You will be assisted by 3-4 Baseball Specialists in running 40-minute sessions for various groups each period of the day while drafting teams and coordinating with our Athletic Directors to schedule tournaments, home run derbies, skills competitions, and more This is a springboard role for any aspiring coach, and an experienced baseball background is required.
We are a sleep-away camp in Thompson, Pennsylvania, so all our staff travel to camp for the summer to live on-site from June 10 to August 15, 2024.
On any given summer, we have employed dozens of current and former college athletes to run every sports program imaginable at one of America's premiere sleep-away camp experiences.
Required:
- 21 years old minimum as of summer 202 Thorough baseball experience (current or former collegiate players preferred, but not required
- Previous coaching experience preferred but not required
- Able to commit to the entire nineweek summer session (Though negotiations for a sevenweek commitment are available)
