Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3.5-year apprenticeship as an Industrial Mechanic (m/f/d) at our location in Munich. The vocational school is also located in Munich.

During your apprenticeship, you will become an expert in the assembly, commissioning, and maintenance of railway technology. This includes working with tools and machines, such as turning, welding, drilling, and milling. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our facilities and rail vehicles. Additionally, you will learn about workplace safety and quality assurance.

As a large company, there are many opportunities for Industrial Mechanics to work in various areas. We offer apprenticeships in the rail network, workshops, and factories.

In the rail network, you will work outdoors on the overhead lines, which provide power to our trains at a height of approximately 4 meters.

In the workshop, you will ensure that our facilities and machines are always ready for use, and tasks may include maintaining and repairing equipment such as wheelset changers and underfloor wheel lathe machines.

In the factory, you will work to keep our trains in top condition, including tasks such as replacing brake blocks and fixing door damage.
