Job Summary

Pour metal into molds and maintain a metal flow rate to ensure casting quality and avoid excess spillage of metal.

3rd Shift 10 PM- 6 AM

Responsibilities:

• Pour molten metal from ladle to molds in various locations
• Secure correct amount of molten metal from receiving ladle and transport it to the pouring location
• Lift ladle by air hoist or fork truck and pour the iron
• Receive instructions as to pouring temperatures, alloy additions, what to pour, etc
• Use care to pour at proper rate and temperature
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition acceptable to safety standards
• Inform operator or supervisor to any unfavorable pouring conditions such as runouts, sequence numbers, part numbers, any boiling of iron in vents or interrupted or short pours

Skills/Experience:

• Good attendance is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1year manufacturing ideal, previous foundry or related experience is a plus.
• Entry level positions available_ _if no prior experience. _

From $22.00 per hour
