Senior Signage & Interior Designer - Enterprise Marketing

Locations:
Johnston, RI OR Westwood, MA


Work Schedule:


  • This is an 8month ContracttoPermanent Opportunity
  • 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:


  • Develop, evolve, document, and maintain design standards for interior construction, architectural/interior finishes, lighting, environmental graphics, materials, and furniture to carry out our design intent. Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical details to ensure that elements are coordinated within design documents, to meet interior approved décor package standards.
  • Design and execute exterior signage and trade dress concepts to support the transformation of our retail branch and ATM network. Review engineer drawings, control drawings and prototypes and manage vendors to execute successfully in terms of quality, efficiency, and costeffectiveness.
  • Develop décor, signage and environmental playbooks / architectural guidelines based on a variety of tiered budgetary alternatives and branch format types. Review design budgets, materials, and value engineering to ensure standards coincide with branch format business case.
  • Possess a true passion for interior design and environmental branding, continuously examining and building a working knowledge of trends, new materials, and design executions. Test and learn through innovative new design approaches.

Qualifications:


  • 3+ years in architecture, interior design, or retail industry with a focus on design.
  • Portfolio of interior architecture or interior design accomplishments.
  • Strong influencing, negotiating, and presentation skills.
  • Possess thought leadership ability and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with peers, internal partners, suppliers, and leaders, collaborating to drive business objectives, strategy, and financial performance.
  • Lead and manage multiple complex and overlapping design projects with tight timelines in an extremely fastpaced environment.
  • Proficient in interpreting construction documents (e.g., architectural, structural, finish plans, lighting) with a critical eye toward architectural design challenges and opportunities.
  • Experience with developing strong design presentations, successfully selling in concepts and influencing at all levels of the organization in support of design strategy and objectives.
  • Proven experience using AutoCad, Microsoft, and Photoshop to develop and present design concepts and bring vision and ideas to life through drawings, elevations and renderings
  • Travel as required (approximately 15% 20%) to perform site visits and inspections of completed work, and facilitate the resolution of punch list items.

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
