- Obtain certification in HeartSaver First Aid within 30 days of hire date
- Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing
- Prior experience working with substance use disorder
- Apply effective communication techniques within the interdisciplinary team and with patients and significant others.
- Provide structure and maintain a therapeutic environment, considering the developmental age of patients.
- Utilize individualized care plans to implement age-appropriate interventions.
- Assist visitors, families, and patients with their daily activities and transportation needs.
- Organize and facilitate recreation, fitness, and leisure activities.
- Respond to calls and assist with therapeutic interventions professionally.
- Heavy work including lifting, moving, and physical restraint of patients.
- Inpatient unit, group rooms, off-site meetings
