As a Security Administrative Assistant, you will be essential to furthering our mission by assisting our AFSO's with policy and procedure management for clients, understanding the 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM, and Personnel Security, including visit request, initiating clearances, reinvestigations, granting access, etc. This role will collaborate with AFSO's to align security measures with project objectives, prioritize tasks with quick turnarounds, and assist with the utilization of the DISS/NBIS, SWFT and NISS. The Security Assistant involves maintaining accurate personnel information, ensuring proper functioning of security systems, assisting with facilitating security training, supporting client tasks and POC responsibilities, and assisting system management for enhanced security effectiveness.


This role will:


  • Prioritize tasks with short turnaround times.
  • Stay up to date with training associated with this position.
  • Understanding the 32CFR Part 117, NISPOM.
  • Personnel Security Assistance for clients and internal, including but not limited to visit requests, initiating accounts, initiating security clearances, periodic reinvestigations, granting access, foreign travel, etc.
  • Conduct 40hour STEPP Training for AFSO.
  • Support FSO and AFSO in creating security education, policies, and procedures for clients and internal.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures where needed.
  • Facility clearance assistance with AFSO POC, including but not limited to, Understanding the paperwork that goes into change condition packages, how to run a Facility Clearance Verification Report, assisting the AFSO POC in light trouble shooting.
  • Assist AFSO POC for clients on security tasks, including but not limited to badging for cleared individuals, other security trainings, security review preparation, reporting security violations, government forms, etc.,
